'Monologue is an exploration into everyday situations & environments & the sounds that define them. By using binaural recording techniques it is possible to capture sound as heard by the listener in the environment, creating a realistic audio experience. Put your headphones on & close your eyes.'

Last Human: 'A piece created for a project as part of my music degree a while ago... It combines binaural field recordings with original musical elements, sometimes also recorded binaurally and mixed together, in the hope of making some interesting soundscapes and soundtracks. There's even some of an 8mm Orchestra string quartet thing I did in there around the 24 minute mark, just after my favourite part; a chance recording of a mother and son playing in the sea at Skegness on an abnormally warm day in March. Most of the recordings were made around Nottingham.

Originally completed in 2011 and stashed away in a cupboard for many years after not knowing what to do with it, I've decided to put it here because I think it deserves more than a box in the loft.
There are a very limited number of CDs available that I made all those years ago.'
